Marko Simsiö is an architect based in Helsinki, Finland. I am particularly interested in ecological wooden architecture and themes, such as sustainability and humanitarian architecture. For me, the most important thing in design is to create a comfortable environment for the user, using human-friendly scale and materials, as well as design that respects the environment and the landscape.
Currently I am working on multiple public and residential wooden architecture projects. The scale of these projects varies from very small to medium size.
